Children’s Activities at Salling Camping

If the kids need to let off some steam, there are plenty of options here – there’s always something to do.

Salling Camping is a small site, so the kids are never far away.

Additionally, the playgrounds are located right next to the tent and caravan pitches and opposite our cabins, making it easy for parents or grandparents to keep a close eye on the children.

Fun on the Water

Join us at Junget Strand on Wednesday in weeks 27-28-29 2024 when Lisbeth from “Naturlig Bevægelse” hosts Fun on the Water. It’s fun and games at the beach with SUP boards and kayaks.

Jumping Pillow

Let the kids loose on the jumping pillow – a popular activity for all children.

Mooncars

Race around in our mooncars – there’s plenty of room for competitive driving.

Playground for the Little Ones

The small playground is perfect for the youngest children. Here they can slide, climb, and rock on the seesaws.

Playground for bigger kids

Unleash the slightly older children on our large playground.

Campfire Coziness

If the weather permits and moods are right, we’ll of course enjoy a campfire at the site. We’ll bring out the marshmallow sticks and enjoy a peaceful moment in the glow of the flames.

Junget Strand

The beach is only 700 meters from Salling Camping. Here you can relax, swim, SUP surf, and kayak. In spring and autumn, the beach is a great fishing spot for anglers.

Child-friendly Holiday by the Limfjord

Are the kids coming camping by the Limfjord? With us, you’re perfectly situated by the water and close to child-friendly experiences on both Fur, Mors, and in Skive.

At Salling Camping, we have both a large playground for the older kids and a smaller playground that’s perfect for the younger children or grandchildren. At the playgrounds, you’ll also find our jumping pillow, campfire spot, and petanque court.

The area in the western part of the Limfjord is a wonderful area for a holiday with children. Here you’re never far from the water, on the Salling peninsula, we have a total of 190 km of coastline and there are plenty of child-friendly beaches to enjoy. The area is calm and scenic and ideal if you want to spend the holiday together and enjoy each other’s company. Every summer, there are Blue Flag events at the beaches with crab races, underwater telescopes, and much more fun for children. In our area, you’re also close to Jesperhus where you can meet Hugo and all his friends. At Spøttrup Borg, you can experience a genuine medieval castle and on Fur, you can go fossil hunting and enjoy the beautiful views over the Limfjord.
